Natural Australian opal. Polished black ceramic. Every ring completely unique.
There is something extraordinary about Australian opal.
At first glance it can appear subtle, but as the light moves across the stone, flashes of electric green, blue, turquoise, red and gold suddenly come alive.
This handcrafted ring brings that natural colour to life against the deep polished black of ceramic, creating a striking contrast that changes with every movement of the hand.
Each ring is individually made in our Australian workshop using genuine Australian opal, carefully selected, shaped and set by hand.
No two pieces of opal are identical.
Which means no two rings will ever be identical either.
Genuine Australian Opal
The opal used in these rings is genuine natural Australian opal — not synthetic or laboratory-created imitation opal.
Rather than simply using crushed material, I select individual pieces of opal for their colour and character and arrange them within the channel by hand.
Some stones display brilliant greens and blues. Others reveal flashes of red, orange, turquoise or gold.
The exact colours and patterns will naturally vary from ring to ring, making the finished piece uniquely yours.
Black Ceramic
The polished black ceramic band provides the perfect background for the opal.
Its deep black finish allows even subtle flashes within the stone to stand out dramatically, while the polished edges give the ring a clean, contemporary appearance.
The contrast works particularly well with Australian opal — understated from a distance, but full of colour when viewed up close or caught by the light.
Handcrafted in Australia
These aren’t factory-produced rings with a printed or pre-made inlay.
Each ring is individually created in our Australian workshop.
The opal is selected and positioned by hand before the inlay is carefully finished, shaped and polished to reveal the colour and depth of the stones.
The workshop photographs in this listing show part of that actual process and the type of opal used to create these rings.
Available in Two Widths
Choose between:
6mm – a slightly narrower, understated profile.
8mm – a broader ring with more visual presence and a larger opal display.
Both are available in US ring sizes 4 through 17, including half sizes.
A Different Kind of Wedding Ring
For someone who doesn’t want an ordinary wedding band, Australian opal and black ceramic make a distinctive alternative.
The black ceramic gives the ring a modern, understated character, while the natural opal ensures there is still something remarkable happening beneath the surface.

Because this is a natural material, your finished ring will not be an exact duplicate of the photographs.
That’s intentional.
The colour, shape and arrangement of the Australian opal will vary, and I will select the stones individually to create the best combination for your ring.
