Why Tantalum?

Tantalum is a rare metallic element known for its naturally dark grey colour, density and exceptional resistance to corrosion.

Unlike plated or coated metals, the distinctive grey colour is inherent to the tantalum itself. There is no dark surface coating responsible for its appearance.

It also has a satisfying weight in the hand — noticeably more substantial than many conventional jewellery metals.
